Below you will find a description of my personal coaching and counseling work. Conducted in person or on the phone, the work includes a spiritual focus and context. I believe there is nothing that your own inner wisdom cannot guide and heal. While our work brings lasting and practical results to your life, its source rests on the roots of healing and fulfillment that lie within you. The work usually includes an intake, homework and practical agreements that allow its effects to come alive in your life.

What do people explore?

Things like: life transitions, career goals, inner child work and healing, couples work & relationship coaching, women's work, life balance, stress management and spiritual growth.

What do we do in a session?

In addition to direct dialogue, we use a variety of psycho-spiritual processes and coaching techniques that foster self-awareness, harness your own knowing, access your unique abilities and empower action. These may include: gestalt dialogue, mind-body awareness, energy work, meditation, reflective writing, breath-work, co-created homework.

How is the work structured?

We can work in a variety of formats:

Phone Sessions: (1) Hour, (3/4) hour & (1/2) hour sessions, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly.

The One-on-One Retreat-Intensive: A 6-10 hr. retreat-intensive done 1-on-1 in Manlius, NY. (20 min. from Syracuse). Clients stay at a near-by B & B and we work in a beautiful setting nestled between foothills, state parks and waterfalls. You can stay an extra day to integrate, play, and be held in nature.

The Couple's Retreat-Intensive:
A 6-10 hour retreat for relationship renewal. This intensive gives couples a chance to safely, compassionately and honestly examine current issues; revive trust, openness and intimacy; gain deep insight into each other's world and dreams; rejuvenate family life, love and shared goals; clarify values and next steps.

What about fees?

Private coaching and counseling fees are based on a sliding scale according to your capacity. Some clients choose to "bulk" their sessions, paying for three to four at a time. Otherwise, payment is due within 5 days of your session. Invoice/receipt is sent for your record-keeping and tax purposes. For some, coaching work is a tax deduction.

is intimate with "the teaching/healing life." Carolyn is committed to
helping teachers, healers and others claim their inner gifts, and step onto
ever-expanding plateaus of self-expression.
